Main responsibilities

Among the various production day laborer positions, we have the following: 

Sandblaster-Polisher:

As part of the manufacturing of our quality hydraulic cylinders, our production helper located at the sandblasting and polishing station will have a key role in quality to detect non-conformities and ensure that machine ready cylinders are passed on to our assemblers and machinists. Some of the tasks that go along with this role include

• Handling parts to be sanded/polished;
• Operate a sanding/polishing machine;
• Ensure proper maintenance of the machine;
• Perform other duties related to the job.

Forklift operator :

Our forklift operators also have a key role in our company. They are in charge of bringing the merchandise to their fellow operators in order to maintain a stable production rate. Working safely under the supervision of the production supervisor, we expect you to perform the following tasks

• Operate a forklift;
• Supply the work stations;
• Handle production equipment;
• Manage storage areas;
• Perform other duties related to the job.

Painter :

The painter will be responsible for the final touch in the manufacturing process of our hydraulic cylinders. Using a spray painting technique, the incumbent will paint our hydraulic cylinders that make us shine throughout North America. In addition to this main task, the painter's main duties will be to :

• Handle, hang, unhook parts;
• Prepare the paint mixtures;
• Clean the parts;
• Perform other duties related to the job.

Status: Completed

Years of experience: 0-2 years

Written French: Advanced

French spoken: Advanced
